Past weekend in Long Beach,CA IBJJF World Championships has taken place. Abmar Barbosa Jiu Jitsu Academy was represented by two of its athletes: Styvens Belloge and Maria Malyjasiak.
Styvens dominated in his first fight, but in the quarterfinal, after a tough match he had accept the loss.
Maria on the other hand, managed to win two of three of her fights and came back home with a silver medal.
Congrats to all of the competitors. Win or lose, coming out there is already a big achievement.
